The Geleshan Martyr s Cemetery, formerly known as the Old Site of the China-US Cooperation Office , is about 7 kilometers long from east to west and about 10 kilometers across. More than 800 buildings and houses in this special zone will include Jangdong, Meiyuan, Yangjiaping, stone quarry, Baigongguan, Wulingguan, Hongluochang, Wangjiayuan, Xiongjiayuan, Xiaoyanggongqiao, Zhugongguan, Bu Large areas, including Yunqiao and Langao, are designated as restricted areas. It was completely enclosed by blockhouses, sentry boxes, and barbed wire, and no one could pass. In the Special Zone, there are more than 20 prisons, such as Zhadong and Baigongguan. The Geleshan Martyrs Tomb, Martyrs Monument and Exhibition Hall were built in 1954, and renamed its current name in 1984.

During the Second World War, the China-US Cooperation Office carried out special wars and psychological operations against Japan on the one hand, and the United States trained special agents for the authorities on the other. In addition to training more than 1,000 special agents with special skills in its two formal training courses, the Institute also trained 30,000 to 40,000 armed service agents of the Loyalty and National Salvation Army and special forces of the Army. Since the victory of the Anti-Japanese War, it has become a criminal institution dedicated to detention, torture and slaughter of revolutionaries and people.

At the end of 1943, the China-US Cooperative Office was changed to the first detention center with more than 20 prisons. The two largest are Baigongguan and Zhadong. In the two former prison sites, there are a large number of objects and pictures, which record the crimes of the persecution of the revolutionary people by US and Chiang spies. Among the celebrities who have been killed by the reactionaries in these two prisons are anti-Japanese patriotic general Yang Yangcheng, Ye Ting, commander of the New Fourth Army, Luo Shiwen, secretary of the Sichuan Provincial Party Committee, Che Yaoxian, secretary of the Sichuan Military Commission, and Jiang Zhuyu. On the eve of the liberation of Chongqing in November 1949, while the US and Chiang Kai-shek fled, they slaughtered more than 300 revolutionary comrades in one go, creating the horrific One, Two, Seven, Seven bloody case. Today, there are more than a million tourists who come here every year to visit the crimes of the Unite d States and Chiang Mai.
