Bailongdu Yadan is one of the three major Yadan groups in Lop Nur. It is often mentioned in historical books. It is located in the northeastern part of Lop Nur. It is a saline-alkali soil platform group with a length of nearly 100 kilometers. The mud and saline-alkali color are grayish-white, and when reflected by sunlight, they reflect a bit of silver, like scales. Therefore, this ancient Yadan group was called white dragon by the ancients. Viewed from a distance, the Bailongdui is like a group of white dragons swimming in the sand and sea. The white ridges appear from time to time, end to end, endless and imposing.
It is best to choose a 4 × 4 off-road vehicle for transportation, and at the same time be led by an experienced guide, and prepare to carry medicines and other materials according to the itinerary.
The Luobubo people have the same dietary habits as Xinjiang. They have rice and steamed buns, and amaranth and vegetables continue to grow throughout the year. Lop Nur people use a kind of magical plant, apocynum, to collect tea and flowers, so many diseases heal themselves. This custom has been used for more than 3,000 years.
