Two BIR elements killed and dumped in the palm bushes of Kompina-Souza, as the Anglophone population there flee for safety

The population of Kompina, a close neighborhood of Souza in  the Moungo Division of the Littoral Region, is in panic, following the assasination of two elements of the Rapid Intervention Battalion - BIR, last Monday July 23rd, 2018.

According to inhabitants of the locality fleeing for safety for fear of the unknown, an unidentified lady went into the BIR camp at Camp 1 Kompina and alerted them that she had been attacked by some unknown individuals, who made away with her phone and money.

The Commander sent two of his elements to go and investigate about the matter, but the two men never came back.

A search team was sent to go and look for them, and their lifeless bodies were for found inside the palm bushes, covered with flies.

Reports say the area has been covered with Forces of Law and Order, who apparently are waiting for instructions to organize a kidnap or  raid and kill mission, while denizens are fleeing in all directions for safety.

It is alleged that this is another plot to send away English speaking Cameroonians out of that locality, where most of them have sought refuge, following the ongoing Anglophone crisis, plaguing the two English speaking Regions of the country
