Rev. Fr. Williams Neba has been released from captivity

Reverend Father Williams Neba who was abducted in the early hours of Monday April 30, in the chapel of the Christ the King Parish of Fuli in the Belo sub-division by 4 unknown gun men, has been released.

He was released this morning of Wednesday May 2nd, 2018, and is reportedly doing fine.

The kidnappers of Fr. Neba did not demand any financial ransom from the Catholic church. They only demanded the TOTAL SHUT DOWN of  St. Bedes College Ashing-Kom which is fully operational in the heat of the ongoing anglophone crisis that has shut the doors of many schools.

He is the first clergyman to have been abducted since the start of the crisis.
