Ex-NBA star Chris Bosh sued by his mother for allegedly abandoning her

Former NBA star Chris Bosh is being sued by his own mother after he allegedly took away her home, going back on his word to take care of her, according to court documents obtained by The Blast.
Freida Bosh alleges her 34-year-old son had her sign papers in regards to the deed of her DeSoto, Texas, home back in 2005, believing the documents in question were related to her divorce from husband Noel, Bosh’s father. Deducing the home would forever be in her hands, Freida claims before she signed the contract, the former Heat forward promised he would tend to her needs for the rest of her life.
It wasn’t until August of last year, Freida claims, that she discovered she wasn’t the property owner, following correspondence with Bosh’s lawyer. She alleges the original documents signed were distorted by her son, ultimately transferring the premises to him.

Freida is seeking unspecified damages, alleging Bosh has continuously tried to evict her. Bosh denies all allegations, requesting the case be tossed out.
This isn’t the first time the home has been at the center of a scandal. In December, Freida was arrested for allegedly allowing drugs to be dealt on the property. She was also accused of demanding a disabled man living at the home to pay rent using a portion of his disability check.
Bosh’s career was cut short by blood clots in his legs, though he has not given up on a comeback.
