Cameroon Government Bans The Importation Of Sugar

The Cameroon government has banned the importation of sugar till further notice.

A letter from the Minister Secretary General at the Presidency Ferdinand Ngoh Ngoh to the Minister of Commerce, said the instructions for this decision, came from the highest office of the country, which is the Presidency of the Republic.

The reason for this decision has not been made known to the public.

If this decision is implemented with immediate effect, Cameroonians are going to experience a dramatic increase of sugar in the market.
