President Biya's CPDM party grabs 63 Senatorial seats in all nine regions, while SDF gets 7, and the rest bow out empty handed

The Constitutional Council has announced the results of March 25th 2018 Senatorial elections, despite foul play cries from the chief opposition party SDF.

The results gives the ruling CPDM party a lead victory of 63 seats out of the 70, and the SDF comes in the second position with 7 seats.

The remaining 7 political parties leave the stage empty handed, with hope that they might have in share in President Biya's upcoming appointment of the remaining 30.
