JAY-Z and Beyoncé 'Did the Hard Work of Going to Therapy' to Work Through His Past Infidelity

While Beyoncé and Jay-Z may have celebrated their 10 year anniversary recently, it is no secret that their marriage has had some challenges.
Rumours of infidelity came to light between the couple in 2016, when Beyoncé released her now infamous 'Lemonade' album, and the rapper seemingly confirmed the allegations when he launched his album '4:44' in 2017
In a recent interview with David Letterman—as a part of Letterman's new Netflix show, My Guest Needs No Introduction—Jay-Z talked honestly about his unfaithfulness explaining that he sought therapy after his transgressions with the aim of working on himself:
I want to have the emotional tools that it takes to keep my family together. And much like you, I have a beautiful wife who’s understanding and knew I’m not the worst of what I’ve done. We did the hard work of going to therapy and you know, we love each other, right? So we really put in the work. Like you, I like to believe we’re in a better place today. But we’re still working and communicating and growing. And I’m proud of the father and the husband that I am today because of all the work that was done.”

Letterman and Jay-Z also touched on the topic of Kanye West. Letterman posed the question, "So, Kanye West: Are we friends, or are we not friends?" And Jay-Z answered unequivocally. "That's my brother. We're beyond friends. Really, like literally, my little brother is Kanye," the rapper said.
Although Jay-Z did admit that everything is not always perfect between he and his pseudo sibling. "And like your little brother, things happen sometimes," he said.
The rapper explained, "We don't come from the same mum and dad, but I've watch Kanye since he was without an album. The thing I respect about him is that he is the same person."
Evidently, Jay-Z was very candid with Letterman during their conversation, we're just disappointed Letterman didn't ask about who bit Beyoncé.
