“This appointment is another testimony that Anglophones have always had preferential treatment in Cameroon since 1982” - Paul Atanga Nji

Following his appointment of yesterday  March 2nd, 2018 to the position of the Minister of Territorial Administration, Paul Atanga Nji has saluted his master Paul Biya, complimenting that he always gives preferential treatment to anglophones (which is NOT TRUE), and saying Anglophones have always been at the center of every decision Mr. Biya makes.

Speaking on CRTV microphone last night at his Yaounde residence where family members, friends and well wishers gathered to celebrate his new red feather, Paul Atanga Nji did not blink his eyes, when he spoke of how Biya regards anglophone in high esteem.

'I have said since you know me  that since 1982, the Head of State has always given the anglophones preferential treatment, and that this appointment is another testimony that anglophones have always had preferential treatment in Cameroon since 1982.  And President Paul Biya as I have earlier said, whenever he has to take important decisions, the anglophones have always been in the center of those decisions. So I think that I am proud once again President  to say Paul Biya has proven beyond reasonable doubts that he has total confidence in anglophones.... English speaking Cameroonians..I don't like that word anglophones. We are English speaking Cameroonians. Thank you.' He said

In another interview with Vision4 Tv, the Minister said: "Anglophones should never say president has given nothing to them. The head of state is an extra-ordinary man. He has always favoured the anglophones".

The same Paul Atanga Nji sparked off fury in the people of the North West and South West Regions of the country in 2016, when he said there was no anglophone problem in Cameroon. And has again made another irritating statement which is a blatant lie of how Biya gives anglophones first hand treat.
