Mayor Ekema Patrick Led A Strong Delegation To Congratulate New Minister Of Secondary Education Dr. Nalova Pauline Lyonga Egbe


The Mayor of the Buea Council Ekema Patrick Esunge last Monday 5th March 2018,  led a powerful delegation of traditional rulers and South West Elites to the Nation's capital Yaounde, for the installation ceremony of the new Minister of Secondary Education Dr. Nalova Pauline Lyonga Egbe.

Ekema Patrick and Dr. Nalova were and are still in the heat of the anglophone crisis in Buea, following their stands and controversial involvement in the ongoing anglophone crisis, that saw them being attacked in their various sector of activities.

Dr. Nalova, the then Vice Chancellor of the University of Buea, had on Monday November 28, 2016, called in military thugs to brutalize University of Buea students, who were striking on Campus, demanding a list of legalities owed them by the school. Many students were arrested. The thugs broke into hostels, defiled students and looted their properties, which was one of the reasons the University of Buea shut its doors for more than one year, and is still resuming timidly.

On June 27, 2017, she was sent on retirement, and on November 13 same year, she was promoted to the position of the Board chairperson of the Douala General Hospital, where she was appointed Minister of Secondary Education on Friday March 2nd, 2018, and installed to her new functions on Monday March 5, 2018, and her accomplice in so many underground crimes Ekema Patrick, led a delegation to give her a handshake for her new red feather.
