Celebrating, Promoting and Consuming Our Own: Meet Cameroonian Actress, Concept Model & Designer, Producer and Present COO of Ruphinas House of Fame, Juliet LUM

Juliet Lum is one of Cameroon's finest female entertainer, who amidst the beauty and fairness of the world, the darkness and uncertainty of the entertainment Industry marred with malice and treachery, has not only fostered a strong determined goal better in her, but has over time nurtured her talent and abilities into a pool of skills which has so far been her 'strength and drive' through the thick, thin and rosy days as an actress, concept model and designer, producer and presently Chief Operating Officer of 'Ruphinas House of Fame', a non governmental organization and a movie production house, integrated with a training center for film making, acting, music, fashion design and modelling based in Bamenda Cameroon.

The 28 years old actress from the North West Region of Cameroon told Thatcher that her dream has always been to impact the world through art either on stage or on the big screen as an actress, concept model, fashion designer and producer, and she saw this dream being manifested, after bracing the odds through schools, landing herself in a her ever first project 'Out of the Blue', directed by Njamsi Roland.

Juliet later joined 'Ruphinas House of Fame' as an actor trainee, and did her own first major project as support character in 'SAMSON'. She also did 'ZIGZAG', 'The Beast', 'Ndonne', 'Hellep', and lead role in 'Cipher', 'Whispering Wishes' directed by Darnoc 1st, 'Mysterious Ways', and 'The Kaffi' directed by Eystein Jnr. Young, 'Bitter Pills' by Lina Ikechukwu and directed by Seehofer Roland.
Juliet was part of the cast of 'TENACITY' by Musing Derick, 'Rebel Pilgrim' by Paul Samba and directed by Chinepoh Cosson, alongside Chifor Valery and Ontama Laura.
She starred as one of the leads in Soli Egbe's much talked about movie 'Shrill', with Soli Egbe herself, Stephanie Tum, Syriette Che and Libotha Macdonald.

Juliet doubled as Project Manager for SAMSON, HELLEP, NDONNE, MY BEST DAY, DA DAY and CHICHA, which was a semi-finalist at the  Africa  International Film Festival - AFRIFF 2017.
On the international front, Juliet Lum was part of the cast of the Nigerian movie 'Vengeance of Shades'.

Juliet Lum is the  Chief Operating Officer of Ruphinas House of Fame, reputed for its assiduity and quality in both its movie output and it actors, with over 250 young people trained in the music, movie, fashion and modelling domain, as well as screen writing, directing, cinematography and event management.

This experience in the nutshell has given her the experience in Corporate Administration and Showbiz Marketing.

According to the actress, her most challenging project so far was SAMSON, even though she has had other challenging projects which are still to see the light of day like 'NSAMUKON', a semi-TV series produced by Ruphinas House of Fame, done in Mboko Pidgin.
