20 Million F CFA Paid As Ransom For The Release Of Prof. Ivo Leke Tambo. STV Confirms - Video


The Chairman of the GCE Board Prof. Ivo Leke Tambo, who was kidnapped last Saturday 17th March 2018, was released yesterday  Monday 19th March 2018, after his family, friends and well wishers paid the sum of 20 Million F CFA to his kidnappers.

According to reports from  Spectrum Television STV, that elites of Lebialem his division of origin and his family contributed the sum of 20 Million F CFA, to negotiate his release.

The media house further reported that after his release, Prof. Tambo was received by the SDO for Menoua Division and other administrative authorities.

He then moved to Yaounde according to Governor Bernard Okalia Bilia, where he was received by top state officials, who listened to the message he brought from the Forest of Lebialem.
