YALI Symposium 2018 Takes Place Today 17/02 At The Yaounde Congress Hall - Entrance Is Free, with Bony Dashaco and Roland Fomundam as Speakers

The YALI(Young African leaders Initiative) 'Impact Symposium 2018', will take place today Saturday February 17, 2018, at the Yaounde Congress hall.

The theme of this year is: "Youth Engagement in Promoting Peace through Dialogue & Social Entrepreneurship," with Bony Dashaco of ACMAR Group Holding as Lead Speaker, accompanied by Roland FOMUNDAM of Green Ventures.

Funded by the U.S. Department of State through the U.S. Embassy Yaounde, YALI will bring together 500 of the best young leaders in Cameroon in the field of Business and Entrepreneurship, Civic Leadership and Public Management to interact and build networks and connections while sharing their views on issues affecting young people as well as seek ways to foster peace and promote nations building.

About the MWFC
Mandela Washington Fellows Alumni Cameroon is an association of Young African Leaders made up of Cameroonian youths who returned from the United States of America as Mandela Washington Fellows. 
We Civic Leaders, Public Managers and Entrepreneurs.
The Mandela Washington Fellowship for Young African Leaders is an initiative of the Former President of the United States of America Barack Obama for Young African Leaders which was launched in 2014 bringing together  1000 young leaders each year from across 49 countries in Africa to benefit from a six weeks intensive leadership training  in different universities in the United States of America. 

Over the past four years, 72 Cameroonians have benefited from this fellowship including the most recent 24 fellows who returned in August 2017. 

This program also includes fellows who benefit from leadership training programs from the Regional Leadership centers based in Ghana and Senegal also called YALI Fellows. 

Together we work towards transforming our communities in our different leadership tracks embracing the virtues of servant leadership.
