"Cameroon MUST Double Up If It Has To Keep The Organization Of The 2019 Afcon" - CAF's President Warns

The President of the African Football governing body  has said there is no controversy about the organisation of the Total  African Cup of  Nations Cameroon 2019, and that if Cameroon doesn't double up its efforts, CAF will not compromise with them.

President Ahmad Ahmad yesterday Friday February 2nd 2018, responded to questions from the media during the press conference he granted after the end of the 40th Ordinary General Assembly in Casablanca.

On the Total Africa Cup of Nations Cameroon 2019 President Ahmad said: "There is no controversy about AFCON 2019. There was an inspection mission by the company, Roland Berger, which is in charge of auditing the infrastructure and organizational related issues for the tournament. There is a huge difference between the inspection reports and the specifications. As a result, Cameroon were told to double up. There are people who are lying. I am a man of my word and my Executive Committee hasn’t change one iota of that. We will apply the regulation with all its vigour. The specifications require infrastructure, hotels, stadiums, hospitals and a lot more".

This new declarations from CAFs boss puts Cameroon again on its toes, as even ordinary physical analysis shows the country will not be ready even in 2035 to host the competition.
