The United States House of Senates has said they are for a 'unified Cameroon, based on equality.'

In a letter of November 1, 2017, signed by members of the Senate, the House of Senate says Cameroon is being tested by Boko Haram and tens of thousands of Refugees across the  the borders of the Central African Republic, and internal problems adding to this, will only be a threat to regional stability, US interest in Cameroon, and US citizens living and working in Cameroon.

The letter seems to be the reaction of the 17th Oct, 2017 letter  by 24 Congressmen petitioning the US Representative to the UN  to address the anglophone crisis in Cameroon.
