Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho reacts in disbelief to Ashley Young’s superb freekick

Ashley Young scored a superb freekick against Watford and no one was more impressed than his manager, Jose Mourinho.

The former Watford player smashed in a pinpoint effort to put United 2-0 up inside half an hour at Vicarage Road.

Young opened the scoring in the 19th minute with a brilliant low strike, but the Englishman outdid himself just a few moments later.

Goalkeeper Heurelho Gomes could do nothing to stop Young’s effort that nestled beautifully in the top corner.

The 32-year-old peeled off in celebration and cameras picked up the reaction on the bench to his freekick.

Snapped: Jose Mourinho's stunned reaction to superb Ashley Young freekick
Mourinho simply cannot believe his eyes and turns back in disbelief as the rest of the United bench celebrates.

It is a brilliant reaction from Mourinho who sees Young as one of his most trusted players.

The brace against Watford is the first time Young has found the net this season as the he ended a 19-month goal drought.

The goals are also Young’s first away from home for almost two and a half years. Young has scored a brace Vicarage Road before, when he was still a Watford player in 2006.
