The 3rd and last Parliamentary session for the year 2017 opened today Tuesday November 14, 2017 at the Ngoa-ekele glass house in Yaounde .

The session opened without Members of Parliament of the Social Democratic Front, who say their absence is to show their discontentment in the way government is handling the anglophone crisis.

In his opening speech, the President of the National Assembly(PNA) Hon. Cavaye Yegue Djibril  saluted  measures taken by President Biya to look for ways and means to end this crisis(Cavaye seems to be absent from realities, because till now Paul Biya, has not done anything concrete, to appease the anglophone people, instead he is using harsh methods on them).

In one of his rare speeches, the PNA inserted two lines of his speech in English, which he read with great difficulties. "Cameroon is our country. None of us will ever want it to be  destroyed whatever the reason. Let's work together for peace, cohesion and unity of our beloved country." Cavaye fumbled to read the lines in English, something he rarely does.

He equally condemned the recent killings of soldiers in Bamenda,  saying they are 'unacceptable and intolerable,' and sang a litany of praises to his master President Paul Biya, in most of the lines in the opening speech.
