27 days gone, since Cameroonians officially saw their President Paul Biya in person. It was on Friday September 22nd, during his presentation at the 72nd Session of the UN General Assembly.

Sources say he is ill and dying, while some of us know that he is on his annual holidays in Geneva his second home, working on the way forward in the crisis plaguing the country.

'Absent physically but virtually present' has become the new mantra for the Etoudi landlord, who is only heard and seen on social media and papers.

In his recent Facebook post some few minutes ago, the Head of State talks about the 'VIRTUE OF PATRIOTISM.'

"Patriotism is a virtue that some people might wrongly consider outdated. Even today, it remains a mark of responsible and nobly asserted citizenship for the nation." The absentee landlord wrote.

Comments on the post, ranges from questions on 'when are you returning to the country?', to 'if you like remain in power for 100 years.'
