Minister Bibehe Says No Office Or Document Was Affected By The Fire Incident In His Ministry

The Minister of Secondary Education Jean Ernest Bibehe Ngale Messina has said the fire incident in his Ministry of Monday Oct. 23rd, 2017 did not damage offices nor documents.

In a press release yesterday Oct. 25th, signed by the Secretary of State in Charge of Education Bayaola Boniface, the Minister explained that on that fateful Monday, there was heavy rains, when a fire outbreak occurred in his ministry.  He said the fired was due to an electrical fault, and that it mostly affected only the 7th, 8th and 9th floors of the building, but no human life was involved.

The Minister also said all documents are intact, and that no office was touched by the fire. However, he said some openings were broken by firefighters, to enable smoke to pass out, so that they could bring the flames under control.

Minister Bibehe congratulates the firefighters for their timely and professional intervention and informed the public that things are back to normal in the Ministry.
