Heavy Military Deployment In Douala, As Government Fears SDF Will Carry On With The Banned Solidarity March

Early morning reports from the Economic capital city  of Douala say the town is dark with military presence, especially Bepanda Omnisport, where the SDF manifestation in solidarity with the people of the North West and South West Regions who were victims of government's violence of Sept. 22nd, and Oct.1, 2017 was to start.

The troops are out in their numbers since last night, to stop manifestants of the banned solidarity march scheduled for today, Oct. 21st, 2017 from carrying out their manifestation.

Activists are being prevented from leaving their homes, as military threatens to arrest any protester seen on the streets.

Bike riders are being identified before crossing the Wouri bridge, where security forces too are stationed, to make sure protesters do not come from the other side of the Moungo for the manifestation.

Meanwhile the organizer of the manifestation SDF Littoral and some political parties say they MUST march as scheduled, even if they are shot, or sprayed with tear gas.
