Catholic Church In Cameroon Under Attack Again, As Two Locally Made Bombs Explodes In The Room Of A Priest In The Center Region - Photos

According to various sources on Social Media, two locally made bomb exploded in the room of Rev. Fr. Jean Louis Melanie Akpa, Parish Priest of Sacred Heart Sa'a, in the Lekie Division of  the Center Region.

This information was confirmed on the Facebook page of  the Bishop of Obala His Lordship Bishop Sosthene Bayemi Leopold who wrote that the explosion that happened at about 8h30 p.m. on Saturday Oct. 7 2017 was an attack.

According to the post, no one was wounded, but Bishop Bayemi called on each and every person to protect the clergy. "Let us pray for our Priests and Bishops. Let us protect them." He wrote.

The judicial police is currently investigating the incident, even though sources say there is panic in the whole of the Obala Diocese, as no one knows who was the target, especially with the wounds of the assassination of Bishop Balla still fresh in the hearts of Catholic Christians, especially those in Bafia.
