Southern Cameroonians in both the North West and South West Regions are in digital darkness, since this morning, as government has completely disconnected them from the internet.

Earlier yesterday, at about 9 p.m, subscribers nation wide began experiencing outage in all Social Media Applications, till this afternoon, when the internet curtain finally closed up in the whole of Southern Cameroons, leaving the people suffocating and choking in anger.

Meanwhile those in the other eight French speaking regions are constantly having network unavailability, with limited access  to the internet, and a TOTAL BLACKOUT from Social media.

This action is a contradiction of the Minister of Post an Telecommunications recent press release, refuting allegations that government was planning to disconnect the Anglophone people from the internet, ahead of the celebration of their INDEPENDENCE.
