Son Of Cameroon's Former Minister Brags Of His Millions Of F CFA On The Internet And Mocks Cameroonians

The son of Cameroon's former Minister of Tourism Baba Hamadou has sparked social media, after exhibiting photos of himself and his wealth on his Facebook wall.

An online video making rounds published by the boy whose name we got as Hamadjoda Nana, show cases his very expensive watch, a very expensive ring, and millions of  fresh bank notes of F CFA

On his Facebook page that has been temporarily suspended, the young student's profile carries that he is the 'President-Director General of Nana Poku Group of Companies(NPGC)', but when searched online, no company with that name exists on the internet.
This photo was on his profile

Internet users in Cameroon and abroad have condemned this attitude, saying it is indecent, especially in a country where 80% of its population live in misery.

The big question on every lip is: where did he have such hug sums of money he is displaying? Is it not part of what his father embezzled while he was Minister?

When contacted on phone by France 24, Baba Hamadou, who is now a Senator of the CPDM Party confirmed that the guy on the video was his son. and said he is very disappointed at him.

I am very disappointed and very surprised by this video, because there is no exhibition in our culture: the West African man is discreet and humble, even if he is rich. Some acquaintances called me after seeing this video to tell me of their surprise and I understand them.
I told my son to see what had happened with his friends on Facebook. On the Internet, we can exchange images, we can have fun, but it can then become a world story, so we have to be careful.
Concerning the interrogations of people concerning the origin of the money of his son, he specified:
He is a student, so I give him money for his studies. I have been in the public service since 1974, so all the money I earned was through my work. I’m honest.
