The Minister of Transport Edgard Alain Mebe Ngo'o lost his mother Madame Ngo'o Mebe Nee Adjoa Empom Elise Alice in Cassablanca last August 2, 2017.
She died after a protracted illness at the age of 86.
An active christian of the Presbyterian Church in Cameroon, Mama Mebe Ngo'o was a member of the defunct Ahidjo's CNU party, before joining the winning league CPDM party, where she held different positions.
She was once a Councillor of the Zoetele Council, and also the Promoter of agricultural products like plantains, cocoa and palm oil, winning the First National Price of the 2011 Agro-pastoral show in Ebolowa.
Her body will be removed from the Yaounde General Hospital mortuary on Friday Sept 1, 2017, and taken to her son Minister Edgar Alain Mebe Ngo'os resident at Odzoa in Yaounde and laid in state for some hours, before being transported to the Nkoumadjap Presbyterian church for funeral services, before leaving for the family house in NKolfong for an all night vigil.
She will be buried on Saturday September 2, 2017 at 10 a.m. May her soul rest in peace.
She leaves behind many to mourn her.
