First Photos Of Bishop Jean Marie Benoit Bala's Last Journey On Earth

The corpse of the late Bishop of Bafia Monsignor Jean Marie Benoit Bala has been removed from the Yaounde Geneal Hospital Morgue today August 2, 2017, two months after it was found floating on the River Sanaga.

Amongst mourners present during this very sad occasion, were his presumed killers, top government officials, members of the National Episcopal Conference, Priests, Religious officials, of both the catholic and and other denominational faith, his relatives, friends and Christians from his Diocese.

The body is presently at the Our Lady of Victory Cathedral in Yaounde, where a Psalter of Bishops, and a superfluity of Priests are praying for his soul in a requiem mass attended by thousands of sympathizers.

After the mass, his body will be transported to Bafia, with a slow down of the convoy at the now Historic Ebebda Bridge, where his car was found.

Bishop Jean Marie Benoit Bala, disappeared on the 31st of May 2017, and the signal of his disappearance was his white Prado truck matriculated CE 9503 V stationed on the Ebebda bridged, that had on the front passenger seat, his particulars and a suicide note 'Je suis dans'. ' I am in the water'.

His lifeless body was found in the late morning hours of 2nd June 2017 by a Malian fisherman, floating close to the banks of the River Sanaga at the Ntsang Village in Monatele, with visible traces of violence.
