Roger Milla And Wife Stephanie Celebrates 10 Years Of Marriage.. Video

Cameroon's Roving ambassador, veteran Indomitable Lions striker and glory of the Cameroonian and African football from the 70s to the 90s, Albert Rogert Milla and delectable wife Astride Stephanie Ondobo celebrated their first complete decade as a couple yesterday  Saturday July 22nd 2017 at the Holy Spirit Parish in Yaounde followed by a colourful reception offered by the couple.

The sumptuous reception was star studded with top administrative officials, politicians, religious officials, footballers, economic operators, local musicians, friends, relatives and well wishers of the couple.

Milla's first wife Evelyne Milla, died in a motor accident in January 2004, and he mourned her for year, fell in love with Miss Astride Stephanie Ondobo, dated her for two years, before finally tying the knots with her  on July 20th 2007, in a holy matrimonial ceremony officiated by Archbishop Tonye Bakot of Yaounde.

During the wedding reception of 2007 at the Yaounde Hilton Hotel that was attended by some 500 invitees, the Cameroon football Idol of all time spoke about his emotions when his wife Evelyne died, and how he found happiness again when he fell in love with Stephanie. 'I am very happy because I was too closed to my late wife, who died in a tragic accident. One year later,  I found a reason to live and be happy again with Astride Stephanie. I want to thank all those who have been by me during this difficult time'.

Appreciating late Evelyne's mother who stood by him all through, the legend said: 'The presence of the mother of my late wife touched me a lot on Saturday, during the religious ceremony. From the depth of my heart I thank her' .
