ArchBishop Kleda Knocks His Bad Leg In Bamenda, And Fails To Bring His People To The Side Of The Government
The ArchBishop Kleda's delegation that went to Bamenda to discuss the reopening of schools, will be going back with the same black report to the President of the Republic of Cameroon, His Excellency President Paul Biya, that the 'people hold the final say', and no amount of money can corrupt their consciences this time.
Reports say the Prelate was shocked with the realities he met on the ground, after listening to his counterparts, during the meeting that took place at the Catholic school Mankon. He confessed that contrary to reports from CRTV Radio and Television which said schools had resumed in the English speaking Regions, all school doors are still closed, including government controlled schools. He called on CRTV to stop lying to the population and face the realities.
Hon. Paulinus Jua , son of late A.N. Jua took the floor and said that the anglophone problem is deep, and that Francophones do not cooperate with anglophones as much as the latter does. He told the Archbishop that the only solution to the problem if frank dialogue. "We know the problems but because of greed we don't want to accept. The Francophones don't love their children as much as we love ours. If there is no genuine dialogue I can assure you your Grace, that you will not have any solution. You are not more Cameroonian than us. If you care you bring all the armies from Yaounde here to Bamenda, we will not send our children to school". Hon. Jua said.
After failing in Buea and Mamfe, the Archbishop Samuel Kleda finally came to the understanding that the problem is bigger than what he thought, and we await the advise he will give to the one who sent him, under the pretext of the church.
