President Biya Brings Back Ama Tutu Muna Back To The Dance Floor As A Weapon Against PM Yang

In his Decree of Yesterday Wednesday March 15 2017, President Paul Biya appointed Ama Tutu Muna, former Minister of Art and Culture, as a member of the National Commission of Bilingualism and Multiculturalism.

Born on July 17 1960 in the South West Petroleum city of Limbe, of late Solomon Tande Muna, first Prime Minister of the Federated States of West Cameroon, from January 11, 1968 to June 2, 1972, Ama Tutu Muna studied Linguistic in the University of Montreal Canada, where she obtained her diploma in 1983.

She was the Secretary of State at the Ministry of Commerce from 2004 - 2007.  In 2007 she was appointed Minister of Arts and Culture (MINAC). In 2014, Ama Tutu Muna was criticized for transferring arts objects from the North West Region to the Center Regional Capital of Yaounde.

On the 22nd of May 2015, Prime Minister Philemon Yang (with whom she had been having some serious back door conflicts) gave her an intimidating order to dissolve SOCACIM(an author's right company she created) within 48 hours because according to the PM, the company was illegal.

Due to her incompetency in the domain of author's right in particular, coupled to other very serious issues that created scandal during her reign as the Queen of MINAC, Mr. Biya through the influence PM Philemon Yang ousted her from her high horse as Minister of Arts and Culture, during the 2nd October 2015 Cabinet reshuffle.

In February 2016, Ama Tutu Muna was asked to evacuate her government given resident at Bastos Yaounde, since she was no longer among the privileged honey suckers of LRC. She refused to evacuate the premise, saying she was already buying it, but was forcefully ejected, and the house given to the present Minister of External Relations Lejeune Mbella Mbella.

Six months out of the limelight, Ama Tutu bounces back on the scene in pride, appointed by the Head of State himself, as a MEMBER of the National Commission for the Promotion of Bilingualism and Multiculturalism for the next five years.

Ama Tutu Muna is the sister of Akere Muna, President of the International Anti-Corruption Council, who is also the lead lawyer of the anglophone leaders, illegally arrested and locked up by the Biya's regime in the Kondengui prison for alleged terrorism acts and other baseless accusations.

One will easily see Mr. Biya's decision to bring back Ama Tutu Muna to the political dance floor of Cameroon, as a weapon of provocation between she and her brothers(including Ben Muna, former President of the Alliance of Progressive Forces Party), who are against everything about the regime, and who together with the anglophone people, are looking forward to see the downfall of the Power Gripper in Etoudi.

Conclusively, with the present situation of the anglophone crisis plaguing the country, and the multiple failures of PM Yang to bring positive results from his numerous trips to and from Bamenda, Amah Tutu Muna's comeback seems again to be another provocative tool, to be used by Mr. Biya against the PM Philemon Yang, who has always been an enemy of the Batibo origin strong and stubborn woman, who rumour said vowed to she her dragged to the mud in shame.
