Reports say the main sponsors of the annual traditional Mt. Cameroon Race of Hope, Guinness and Supermont have said they cannot venture into this year's edition of the event, because of the civil unrest happening in the anglophone regions.
The sponsors told Government that there is high insecurity of foreign participants especially, as well as the absence of the traditional fan fare and ambiance that usually graces the occasion.
The sponsors have and are still resisting government's pressure, and have wished Biya and his cohorts 'good luck' should they insist to go ahead and organize the event without them.
This therefore only means that, the race for this year has been postponed indefinitely.
The God of all creation is at work in our favour, may His Name be Praise Forever.
