No One Is Free When Others Are Oppressed

While trying to deceive the world about an Optical Fiber fault resulting to the interruption of Data services in the Anglophone Regions, the government is also being trapped, as their every actions do not only affect the anglophone regions, but also the quality of telecommunication system all over Cameroon.

Read below..............

Subject: Suspension of Internet Services In Some                          Sensible Regions

Dear Madam Minister,

I have the honor to notify your high attention that following your highest instructions, CAMTEL has taken all the necessary measures to carry out the aforementioned suspension. However, it looks like some operators did not fully  respect your  instructions.

As soon as I got the information,I personally mobilized a team to Camtel sites in the towns of Yaounde, Douala, Kribi and Limbe, in-between Tuesday Jan. 17th at 8:30 p.m. and Wednesday Jan 18 2017 at 01:30 a.m, in order to ensure that your instructions are respected in a coercive manner.

This operation resulted to the successful suspension of Internet Services of operators and Internet Service Providers(ISP) throughout the national territory. After a firm commitment taken by these different partners on the respect of the actions decided in close collaboration with the government, the services were restored.

We found out during the operation that operators like MTN, offers internet services to other service providers like CREOLINK, VODAPHONE and AFRIMAX, going out of the applicable regulations. As for VIETTEL, we are still investigating.

Moreover, this situation is causing problems not only during the control of internet services at different airport Wi-fis which are sub-marine optical cables and satellite access, but also in the acquisition of modern equipment to guarantee our sovereignty.

Yours truly
