Southern Cameroonians in Finland began their first diplomatic push today. The meeting held at the Administrative Office Unit for Southern and Western Africa Ministry for Foreign Affairs, Finland. In a CD presentation with relevant documents, Southern Cameroonians expressed the following to the Finnish Government:
1) To warn the government of La Republique (Paul Biya regime) against the use of deadly force on unarmed civilians during peaceful demonstrations

2) To intervene and mediate in the current crisis.

3) Ask the government to unconditionally release all arrested and in particularly the Cameroon Anglophone Civil Society Consortium´s president Barrister Agbor Balla, the Secretary General Dr. Fontem Neba and the youth leader Mancho Bibixy as well as Justice Ayah Paul Abine

4) Ensure the Demilitarization of Southern Cameroons (North West and South West)

5) To call on Biya to stop depriving the people from their basic rights of communication. Internet data connections have been suspended in the entire Southern Cameroons more than a week now

6) To stop the mass arrests of young people continuously going on in the entire Southern Cameroons by the Cameroun military.

7) To guide or help the people of Southern Cameroons by channeling the issues to other organizations like the European Union Parliament or United Nations.

Some important recommendations and decisions were made but because this is public, I cannot say it now but God willing, the diplomatic push will be good. Other meetings have been scheduled ahead.
