The President of the Republic of Cameroon H.E Paul Biya today Friday January 6th 2017, received his traditional annual New Year Wishes from Diplomatic bodies, high profile Statesmen and Economic Operators at His Etoudi Unity Palace.

Biya used this forum to chat with individuals, as well as assign others to various missions, with his main worries centered on the anglophone crises, as he unofficially sends envoys to the North West Region to beg for peace.

Among those Biya chatted with and sent to the Bamenda errand was the National President of the Alliance for Democracy and Development(ADD), who is also a member of of CONAC,  Garga Haman Adji.

In an interview with CRTV'S Presidential correspondent George Ewane,  Garga Haman boasted that President Biya has assigned him to Bamenda to bring back those who want to separate from La Republique du Cameroun.

In his own words, Garga Haman said: 'The President has asked me to go to Bamenda and bring back those who want to leave us. And I promised him that I will do".

Garga Haman is not the only one with whom the Head of State had a personal chat in the hall, and from his attitude today, President Biya sounded more desperate than ever, to bring the rioting people back to order.

Is it too late, or will he rather do every thing in his powers to go the 'extra miles' he declared during his end of year speech?
