Goal Keeper Fabrice Ondoa Cruises The Indomitable Lions Into The Semi-Finals of the Total AFCON 2017 Gabon

It all started at 8 p.m. this Saturday Jan. 28th 2017 in Franceville Gabon, as the curtains of the HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE match between the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon and the Teranga Lions of Senegal opened with anthems of both countries.

The start of the match slaw a slack from both teams as they observed each other, trying to know where and how to penetrate. The Teranga Lions of Senegal, confident of their palmares in the competition so far, started pressing the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon, with wasted efforts of raising the curtain.

The first exciting move of the day was made at the 17th minute, when Christian Bassogo and Benjamin Moukandjo, made a threatening move that ended in a fruitless corner.

This action served as an eye opener for the Senegalese, who in the 19th minute through their team's macho Keita Balde defiled the Cameroonian left defense, and sent a center to Cheikhou Kouyate, who used his head and wasted the opportunity.

At the 26th minute, the Senegalese had the golden opportunity to become the roaring lion of the day, with a pass between Sadio Mane and Mame Diouf, that went over the goal post of goalkeeper Fabrice Ondoa.

With some extra minutes before the Referee could blow half-time, hearts were racing, as Captain Moukandjou made another daring move which was counteracted by Senegalese goal keeper Aboudlaye Diallo, bringing the first-half of the match to an all tie ZERO.

During the half-time, coaches of both teams had some words of cautions to their guys, as well giving them new strategies to emerge heros of the day, by changing the game.

At the start of the second half, Cameroon's head coach Hugo Bross replaced Karl Toko with Jacques Zoua, while the Senegalese where on both offensive and defensive on all front, with another failed combinative fireworks between Sadio Mane and Mame Diouf, that dashed off effortlessly in the arms of the Man of  the Day Goal Keeper Fabrice Ondoa of Cameroon, who so far had been the SAVIOUR of the Indomitable Lions, using all his techniques to make sure no goal trespasses his post.

The full-time of the match was prolonged with a 4 minutes of extra playing time, that took both teams into a 30 minutes prolongation, which still ended in  0-0.

Then Came that palpitating moment, that took spectators into penalty shoot, as Goal Keeper Fabrice Ondoa crashed the Senegalese dream, by disrupting the penalty of  Sadio Mane, before Aboubakar Vincent gave the final shot, to end the Match of the Lords a 5-4 victory in favour of the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon.
