COMICA Dethrones Miss Cameroon 2016

Finally, the long feud between Miss Cameroon 2016 Julie Frankline Cheugue Nguimfack and the  Organizing Committee of  the Competition COMICA, has ended, with Miss Julie being stripped of her Sash in favour of the 4th Runner-up and Miss South West  MINKATA AKOMO Michele Ange Sandra.

The decision was taken  during a Press Conference marking the launching of the 13th Edition of the Competition hat took place on Thursday Jan. 26th 2017 at Hotel La Falaise in the Economic Capital of Douala.

Fomer Miss 2016 Julie Franline Cheugue Nguimfack is being accused of insubordination and other misconducts, which resulted to the US embassy refusal of issuing her a visa for the just ended Miss World 2016 Contest in the USA.

According to COMICA, they have  been battling with Miss Julie Cheugue for gross indiscipline, to the extend of reminding her about her breaching the 'Code of Conduct' of the Organization to no avail.

Miss Julie on her part  had reacted to the various accustions heaped on her by COMICA, telling her own side of the story, emphasizing  'will never give up on my dignity nor my morality'. Whatever she meant by that, is known only to her and COMICA.

The controversies of Miss Cameroon 2016 started right after her coronation, when critics held that there was partiality in the competition as the Star of West did not have all it takes to wear the crown of the most beautiful woman in Cameroon.
