Ambazonians in the Diaspora raise close to 9 Million Francs for Dr. Fontem's new car

For those doubting the unflinching support of the Diaspora in the anglophone struggle, after seeing this, your idea will change, as this is a clear prove of  solidarity and a symbol of 'Unity and Commitment'.

The brain child of this project is the unfortunate fire incident set up by unknown individuals, that burnt down Dr. Fontem's car early yesterday morning.  The ever smart thinking and committed Online Social and Political activist Ivo Tapang Tanku of the US, suggested this commendable initiative, that was endorsed by all, and within 24 hours men and women of goodwill from the Diaspora have been able to raise an equivalent of close to 9 000 000 F CFA (Nine Million Francs)to buy Dr. Fontem a brand new locomotive.

The initial budget set for this project was about 5 000 000 F CFA(Five Million Francs), but it has drastically doubled, as Cameroonians in the Diaspora say the incorruptible Dr. Fontem deserves better.

The shock waves of yesterday's news is still baffling Southern Cameroonians who needs answers about the fire incident that took place in front of the Health Unit of the University of Buea. Dr. Fontem's car was parked in the midst of other cars, that were not affected by fire.

Whoever masterminded this act will soon be fished out, as investigations are already rolling.

Dr. Fontem  A. Neba is the Secretary General of the Cameroon Anglophone Civil Society Consortium. Created on December 5 2016, the CONSORTIUM regroups  Civil Society organizations, trade unions and professional groups, with the objective to advocate, advise and speak for and on behalf of the marginalized people of Southern Cameroons by identifying and making known their problems through providing policy alternatives that can better their lives.

Dr. Fontem and his team have resisted the temptations of collecting bribe from the government, and  are presently the thorns in government's flesh, probably reason why they send midnight thugs to burn down his car.

For those in the diaspora who are still looking forward to supporting this project, here is the link: Go fundme
