Government obliges Anglophone Teachers to call off strike action for dialogue to continue

The Director of the Prime Minister's Cabinet and Chairman of the Prime Minister Yang's Inter-ministerial adhoc committee investigating the grievances of the anglophone teachers Mr. Ghoghomo Paul, has said the dialogue will only continue after the teachers might have called off the strike. He said the teachers are asking what was not on their demand list, and said he is not willing to continue with the dialogue till further notice.

The last  meeting that took place on December 6th 2016, ended in a deadlock, and Mr. Ghoghomo who is the presiding chairman has already returned to Yaounde, pending the reactions of the Anglophone Teachers Trade Union.
