Reports say the Head of State President Paul Biya with wife and delegation will be arriving Yaounde today October 23rd 2016. According to sources from the Unity Palace, Biya's return will answer so many questions related to his long absence from the country which Cameroonians deem as unjustified.

The Head of State left Yaounde for the UN General Assembly in New York on September 16th, 2016, and according to the UN's programme that was to end on September 26, Mr. Biya and his delegation would have been back by September 30th 2016.

However, even before the UN General Assembly could close its curtains, the Head of State left to a destination that no one could tell, ever since then his presence has only be felt on the numerous decrees he signs in absentia.

37 days exactly since he left the country, many things have transpired. The Mfoundi/Beti Memorandum that is making headlines, the numerous discords in the CPDM party and with the double tragedy that plagued the transport sector on Friday, the Head of Sate cannot be indifferent, and even though his collaborators says 'he is close to the situation' I think he himself has felt the necessity of being present, unless otherwise.

After declaring October 24th a National mourning day to honour the memories of those that died during the Eseka train derailment, His Excellency President Paul Biya himself will personally join Cameroonians on this day to mourn.

We await him with opened arms, and hope his presence in the country will set many things straight.
