Minister Edgar Alain Mebe Ngo’o

  • Minister Edgar Alain Mebe Ngo’o met with Officials of the US Boeing Consulting Firm, and later revealed that Camair-Co has hopes of being Revived.

Things are beginning to sound rosy, after yesterday's meeting between  Transport Minister, Authorities of Camair-Co and Officials of Boeing  Consulting, on the future of the dying Airline.

"The President choosed Boeing. Boeing brought an elaborated plan which he validated. He congratulated the professionalism of Boeing's Team. Boeing has made final touches on its contributions" said Minister Mebe Ngo'o.

"I can tell you that 30 Billion F CFA is already available. Boeing will assist Camair-Co for 18 months renewable, to implement this plan". He added.

This plan will provide a network that will enable Camair-Co 's planes to fly 27 destinations, with 9 domestic, 13 regional and 5 intercontinental flights. With the proposal and plans to acquire more aircrafts by 2020, Camair-Co's fleet will climb to 14 aircrafts.

Meanwhile Boeing has advised the Government to put in 60 Billion F CFA for the computerization of Camair-Co, construction of hangars etc..., and  all these to bring the company to the standard it deserves.

We hope what the Minister said is going to be accomplished , and that Boeing's advise be taking into consideration so that Camair-Co can live its dream.
