Douala Laquintinie hospital - Coffin sellers and and funeral service providers to evacuate the Laquintinie premises with immediate effects

The Director of the Laquintinie hospital through the intermediary of the SDO for Wouri has ordered coffin sellers, ambulance owners and funeral service providers to evacuate the vicinity of the Laquintinie hospital for obvious reasons.

The SDO said not only are the ambulances and coffins displayed at the entrance of the hospital  have psychological influence on patients, but they also makes the hospital environment unnecessarily crowdy and shabby.

However, owners of these business are not contented with the decision, and are resisting and defying the SDO's orders, saying that government should show them a location to carry their businesses to, and also that their actual location is the best for their business since they are closer to the morgue.
