Cameroon Politics - Government bans FLY CAMINTER

Not up to a couple of days in to  active operations, FLY CAMINTER, the new and lone Cameroon domestic flight company has recieved a serious slap from the government.

Edgar Alain Mebe Ngo'o, Minister of transport suspended flight activities of the new Carrier, in a press release of Tuesday March 29th 2016, the Minister claims the Airline, whose 51% shares belongs to a Cameroonian Business Man with Technical support from Regourd Aviation of the French Group  has not fully complied with the Regulations in place, and thus cannot continue business

FLY CAMINTER's routes are similar to that of Air Leasing, and it is already feeling the blows of wanting to challenge the dying CAMAIR-CO .

While keeping our fingers cross that things works out between them and the government, Cameroonians will have no choice than to continue in buses and trains as usual.
